कुछ देशों के बढ़ते कोविड मामलों के देखते हुए भारत सरकार ने चीन समेत छह देशों से आने वाले अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रियों के लिए एयर सुविधा फॉर्म भरना अनिवार्य कर दिया था। अब भारत सरकार की ओर से इसकी अनिवार्यता खत्म कर दी गई है। थाईलैंड, सिंगापुर, जापान, हांगकांग, दक्षिण कोरिया और चीन से भारत आने वाले यात्रियों को सोमवार यानी 13 फरवरी से एयर सुविधा फॉर्म भरने और कोविड रिपोर्ट अपलोड करने की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी। भारत सरकार ने इसकी अनिवार्यता को खत्म कर दिया है। केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने पिछले कुछ महीनों से इन देशों से भारत आने वाले यात्रियों के लिए इन नियमों को लागू किया था। इन देशों में कोविड-19 के मामलों में गिरावट के बाद, केंद्र ने गुरुवार को चीन और अन्य छह देशों के यात्रियों के लिए गाइडलाइंस में ढील दे दी है। अभी भी भारत आने वाले 2 फीसदी यात्रियों की रैंडम टेस्टिंग जारी रहेगी।
स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने चीन, सिंगापुर, हांगकांग, दक्षिण कोरिया, जापान और थाईलैंड से आने वाले अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रियों के लिए कोविड टेस्ट और सेल्फ डिक्लेरेशन रिपोर्ट अपलोड करने की मौजूदा अनिवार्यता को हटा दिया है , इन देशों में कोविड-19 मामलों की गति में निरंतर और महत्वपूर्ण गिरावट आ रही है। इस बीच, भारत में लगातार मामलों में गिरावट देखी जा रही है, रोजाना 100 से कम नए मामले रिपोर्ट किए जा रहे हैं। उपरोक्त के मद्देनजर, यह मंत्रालय अपने ‘अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आगमन के लिए दिशानिर्देशों’ को अपडेट कर रहा है। जिसके बाद चीन, सिंगापुर, हांगकांग, कोरिया, थाईलैंड और जापान से आने वाले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय यात्रियों को नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय के ‘एयर सुविधा’ पोर्टल पर स्व-स्वास्थ्य रिपोर्ट और कोविड नेगेटिव रिपोर्ट अपलोड करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।”
