अमेरिका के अलास्का से बड़े हादसे की खबर है। ट्रेनिंग उड़ान से लौटते समय अलास्का में गुरुवार को अमेरिकी सेना के दो हेलीकॉप्टर दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गए। इस साल अमेरिका में सैन्य हेलीकॉप्टरों से जुड़ी यह दूसरी दुर्घटना है। अमेरिकी सेना अलास्का के एक बयान में कहा गया है, फर्स्ट रिस्पॉन्डर हीली के पास दुर्घटनास्थल पर पहुंच गए थे। हालांकि यह स्पष्ट नहीं था कि हेलीकॉप्टर में कितने लोग सवार थे या कितने लोग घायल हुए हैं। AH-64 अपाचे हेलीकॉप्टर फेयरबैंक्स के पास स्थित फोर्ट वेनराइट के थे।अधिकारियों ने कहा कि घटना की जांच की जा रही है और अधिक विवरण उपलब्ध होने पर जारी किया जाएगा। बता दें कि इससे पहले फरवरी में तालकीटना से उड़ान भरने के बाद एक अपाचे हेलीकॉप्टर के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने से दो सैनिक घायल हो गए थे। ये फोर्ट वेनराइट से एंकोरेज में ज्वाइंट बेस एल्मेंडॉर्फ-रिचर्डसन की यात्रा करने वाले चार हेलीकॉप्टर में से एक था। वहीं इससे पहले मार्च में, फोर्ट कैंपबेल, केंटकी से लगभग 30 मील (48 किलोमीटर) उत्तर-पूर्व में एक नियमित नाइट ट्रेनिंग के दौरान दो अमेरिकी सेना ब्लैक हॉक मेडिकल इवैक्यूएशन हेलीकाप्टरों के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने से नौ सैनिक मारे गए थे।
