स्मृति मंधाना पर लगा सबसे महंगा दांव, आरसीबी ने 3.4 करोड़ रुपये में खरीदा –3 प्लेयर्स पर ही खर्च किए 5 करोड़
महिला क्रिकेट में आज एक इतिहास रचा जा रहा है. बीसीसीआई द्वारा पहली बार महिला प्रीमियर लीग (WPL) का आयोजन किया जा रहा है, जिसका पहला ऑक्शन आज मुंबई में हो रहा है. इस ऑक्शन में 400 से अधिक महिला खिलाड़ियों की बोली लगेगी, जिसमें 90 प्लेयर्स का ऑक्शन होना है वूमेन्स प्रीमियर लीग के ऑक्शन की शुरुआत हो चुकी है. मुंबई में वीपीएल यानी महिला आईपीएल के पहले सीजन के लिए ऑक्शन की शुरुआत हो चुकी है। इस बार होने वाले वीपीएल में 5 टीमें हिस्सा ले रही हैं, जिनमें दिल्ली कैपिटल्स वूमेन, रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर वूमेन, मुंबई इंडियंस वूमेन, यूपी वॉरियर्स, और गुजरात जायंट्स शामिल हैं.
इनमें मुंबई, अहमदाबाद, लखनऊ, दिल्ली और बेंगलुरु की टीमें हैं. ये सभी टीम मुंबई में आयोजित ऑक्शन में अपने प्लेयर्स को पिक करने आए हैं. इस ऑक्शन में कुल 409 खिलाड़ियों ने भाग लिया हैं, 246 भारतीय और 163 विदेशी खिलाड़ी शामिल हैं. ऑक्शन में सबसे पहला नाम स्मृति मंधाना का नाम आया, जिसे रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर ने 3 करोड़ 40 लाख रुपये की कीमत देकर अपनी टीम में शामिल कर लिया. आपको बता दें कि इस ऑक्शन के लिए सभी टीम के पास अधिकतम 12 करोड़ रुपये का पर्स उपलब्ध है. स्मृति मंधाना का नाम आते ही सबसे पहले मुंबई ने अपना हाथ ऊपर उठाया और फिर बैंगलोर ने भी उनके लिए बोली लगाई. कुछ ही सेकंड्स में स्मृति के लिए बोली 2.5 करोड़ के पार पहुंच गई. यह बाएं हाथ की ओपनिंग बल्लेबाज हैं. इन्होंने 112 टी20 मैचों में अब तक 27.32 की औसत और 123.13 की स्ट्राइक रेट से 2,651 रन बनाए हैं. इन्हें फ्रेंचाइजी कप्तान के विकल्प में भी सोच सकते हैं. स्मृति के रूप में बैंगलोर को एक कप्तान का ऑप्शन भी मिल गया है। स्मृति अपने टीम के लिए इस साल कितने रन बनाती हैं
