जम्मू-श्रीनगर हाईवे पर ऊधमपुर थाना क्षेत्र के बट्टलबालियां के पास जम्मू से डोडा जिले के गंदोह जा रही बस अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क पर पलट गई। इस हादसे में चार वर्ष के बच्चे और 11 महिलाओं सहित 27 यात्री घायल हो गए। घायल यात्रियों में सात उत्तर प्रदेश और दो पंजाब के निवासी हैं। उत्तर प्रदेश के एक और पांच स्थानीय यात्रियों को गंभीर हालत में ऊधमपुर जिला अस्पताल से सरकारी मेडिकल कालेज रेफर किया गया है। जम्मू से शुक्रवार की रात करीब 1:30 बजे बस नंबर जेके 02बीक्यू-4355 यात्रियों को लेकर डोडा जिले के गंदोह के लिए रवाना हुई। शनिवार को तड़के करीब 3:30 बजे बस जब जम्मू-श्रीनगर हाईवे बाईपास मार्ग पर ऊधमपुर में बट्टलबालियां के पास स्थित बिरमा नदी पर बने पुल से गुजर रही थी तो चालक के नियंत्रण से बाहर होकर सड़क पर पलट गई। बस पलटने के बाद काफी दूर तक घिसटती चली गई। जिस समय हादसा हुआ, उस समय लगभग सभी लोग सो रहे थे। बस पलटने की तेज आवाज के साथ यात्रियों की नींद खुलने पर चीख-पुकार मच गई। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और वहां से गुजर रहे कुछ यात्री वाहनों के चालक व आसपास खड़े ट्रकों के चालक मदद के लिए पहुंचे। बस में सवार जिन यात्रियों को कम चोट आई थी, उन्होंने भी अन्य घायलों की मदद की।पुलिस ने अपने वाहनों मे एंबुलेंस की मदद से सभी घायलों को ऊधमपुर जिला अस्पताल पहुंचाया। वहीं, हादसे की सूचना मिलने पर जिला अस्पताल ऊधमपुर के डाक्टरों और पैरामेडिकल स्टाफ को पहले ही सतर्क कर दिया गया। आर्थो, सर्जन सहित विशेषज्ञ डाक्टरों को फोन कर बुला लिया गया। घायलों के पहुंचते ही उनका उपचार शुरू कर दिया गया। छह घायलों को गंभीर हालत में सरकारी मेडिकल कालेज जम्मू रेफर कर दिया गया। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर हादसे के कारणों का पता लगाकर जांच शुरू कर दी है। ओवरलोडिग और चालक की लापरवाही से हुआ हादसा :शनिवार को तड़के बट्टलबालियां स्थित भीम सिंह कालेज के पास 27 लोगों के घायल होने की वजह बनने वाला बस हादसा ओवरलोडिग और चालक की लापरवाही से हुआ। जिला अस्पताल ऊधमपुर में हुई बातचीत में घायल यात्रियों गुलाम हसन, फारुख अहमद, मनीर अहमद ने बस हादसे के लिए चालक को जिम्मेदार ठहराया। उन्होंने बताया कि बस में अधिक यात्री सवार थे। बस के अंदर सभी सीटों पर यात्री बैठे थे और खड़े भी थे। छत पर भी काफी ज्यादा सामान लदा हुआ था। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि चालक ने शराब भी पी रखी थी। ओवरलोडिग और चालक की लापरवाही इस हादसे की वजह थी। उन्होंने पुलिस, प्रशासन और परिवहन विभाग से इस तरह से हादसों को रोकने के लिए चालकों और ट्रांसपोर्टरों पर सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग भी की। सरकारी मेडिकल कालेज जम्मू रेफर रेफर किए गए
