इमरान खान की गिरफ्तारी के बाद पाकिस्तान हिंसा के उस दौर से गुजर रहा है जहां आगे सिविल वॉर की स्थिति बनती दिखती है. बहुत साल नहीं हुए 2018 में जब इमरान पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री बने थे तो उन्होंने नया पाकिस्तान और रियासत-ए-मदीना के सपने दिखाए थे. लेकिन 4 साल में न सिर्फ उनके सपनों ने दम तोड़ा दिया बल्कि वे खुद भी जेल पहुंच गए.2018 में जब इमरान खान पहली बार पाकिस्तान की सत्ता में आए तो लगा कि हमारे पड़ोसी मुल्क में अच्छे- अच्छे बदलावों की बयार आएगी. पाकिस्तान आतंकवाद, मजहबी हिंसा और करप्शन के चंगुल से निकलकर लोकतंत्र और विकास के रास्ते पर जाएगा. इमरान खान ने चुनाव जीतने के बाद अपने पहले भाषण में नया पाकिस्तान, रियासत ए मदीना का तड़का देकर अपनी अवाम को फील गुड कराया .इमरान नया पाकिस्तान का नारा तो 2013 में दे चुके थे, लेकिन 2013 के चुनाव में उन्हें कामयाबी नहीं मिली. पाकिस्तान को लीड करने की उनकी साध 2018 में पूरी हो गई जब जनता ने प्रचंड तो नहीं लेकिन सरकार बनाने लायक बहुमत देकर पीएम पद की कुर्सी सौंप दी. अपनी पहली जीत के बाद अपने चर्चित टेलिविजन प्रसारण में इमरान खान ने अपने सपनों के पाकिस्तान का खाका दुनिया के सामने रखते हुए कहा था, ” अल्लाह ने मुझे मौका दिया है कि मैं वो मेनिफेस्टो, वो नजरिया लागू करूं जो मैं 22 साल पहले लेकर निकला था.” 2018 में चुनाव के दौरान इमरान खान ने जिन दो चीजों पर सबसे ज्यादा जोर दिया था वो थे नया पाकिस्तान और रियासत ए मदीना. इमरान ने अपने प्रचार अभियान में कहा था कि ‘नया पाकिस्तान’ बनाने की ओर उनकी पार्टी कदम बढ़ाते हुए सभी को विकास के लिए उन्नति के लिए समान अवसर मुहैया कराएगी. इमरान ने पाकिस्तान के ऑल वेदर फ्रेंड चीन का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि यह देश 30 सालों में अपनी 70 करोड़ की आबादी को गरीबी रेखा से बाहर ले आया. पाकिस्तान की इकोनॉमी की हालत देखकर इमरान के विश्वस्त रहे असद उमर; जिन्हें इमरान ने वित्त मंत्रालय का जिम्मा सौंपा था, ने मंझधार में ही इमरान का साथ छोड़ दिया. असद उमर ने 8 महीने में ही वित्त मंत्री के पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया. अगर इमरान के पूरे कार्यकाल की बात करें सिर्फ साढ़े तीन साल के शासन में इमरान ने पांच बार अपने वित्तमंत्री बदले. इससे जनता में संदेश गया कि सरकार को इकोनॉमी का गणित समझ में नहीं आता. एक तो देश की खराब माली हालत दूजे महंगाई का डंक, इसी दौरान कोरोना का अटैक हुआ. इन कारणों की वजह से पाकिस्तान में महंगाई ऐसी समस्या बन गई जिससे जनता सड़कों पर आ गई. दूध, आटा, चावल, चिकन, दवाइंया जैसी बुनियादी चीजों की कीमतों में बेतरह इजाफा हुआ. महंगाई हमेशा इमरान के कंट्रोल से बाहर रही. इमरान की गिरफ्तारी के बाद पाकिस्तान उबल रहा है. इमरान की पार्टी पीटीआई ने अपने कार्यकर्ताओं को सड़क पर उतरने को कहा है और कहा है कि जब तक इमरान को रिहा नहीं किया जाता वे सड़कों पर ही रहें. इमरान की पुकार पर पीटीआई कार्यकर्ता जबरदस्त हिंसा कर रहे हैं. उन्होंने सेना के कमांडरों के घरों को कब्जे में ले लिया है और सरकारी संपत्ति को जला रहे हैं. फिलहाल पाकिस्तान के हालात काफी नाजुक दिख रहे हैं.
