1 अप्रैल 2023 से नया वित्त वर्ष शुरू होने जा रहा है. इसकी शुरुआत के साथ ही यूपीआई से लेन-देन भी महंगा होने वाला है. नेशनल पेमेंट्स कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया ने यूनिफाइड पेमेंट इंटरफेस (UPI) पेमेंट को लेकर एक सर्कुलर जारी किया है, जिसमें अप्रैल की पहली तारीख से यूपीआई से होने वाले मर्चेंट पेमेंट पर PPI चार्ज लगाने की सिफारिश की गई है. मंगलवार को जारी किए गए इस सर्कुलर के मुताबिक, NPCI ने प्रीपेड पेमेंट इंस्ट्रूमेंट यानि PPI लगाने की तैयारी की है. ये चार्ज 0.5-1.1 फीसदी लगाए जाने की सिफारिश की गई है. सर्कुलर में UPI के जरिए 2,000 रुपये से ज्यादा के ट्रांजेक्शन पर 1.1 फीसदी प्रीपेड पेमेंट इंस्ट्रूमेंट यानि PPI लगाने का सुझाव दिया गया है. यह चार्ज मर्चेंट ट्रांजैक्शंस यानी व्यापारियों को पेमेंट करने वाले यूजर्स को देना पडे़गा.
