दिल्‍ली, नोएडा समेत एनसीआर के इलाके मंगलवार दोपहर भूकंप के झटकों से दहल गए। दोपहर करीब डेढ़ अचानक धरती डोली। जम्‍मू-कश्‍मीर से लेकर चंडीगढ़ तक लोगों ने झटके महसूस किए जाने की जानकारी दी। चीन और पाकिस्‍तान में भी भूकंप का असर रहा। नैशनल सेंटर फॉर सीस्‍मोलॉजी (NCS) के अनुसार, भूकंप का केंद्र जम्‍मू-कश्‍मीर के डोडा में रहा। भूकंप की तीव्रता रिक्‍टर स्‍केल पर 5.4 बताई जा रही है। श्रीनगर के एक स्थानीय निवासी ने न्‍यूज एजेंसी ANI को आपबीती बताई। उसने कहा, ‘भूकंप से स्कूल के बच्चे घबरा गए, दुकानों में जो लोग थे वे बाहर आ गए। पिछले हफ्ते भी ऐसा ही हुआ था। आज के झटके ज्यादा तेज थे। पिछले कई महीनों से लगातार ये हो रहा है।’ दिल्ली के एक व्‍यक्ति ने ANI को बताया कि ‘मैं जब मेट्रो से बाहर निकल रहा था तभी मुझे भूकंप के झटके महसूस हुए। मुझे थोड़ा डर लगा, मैं फिर जल्दी-जल्दी सीढ़ियों से बाहर आया।’ दोपहर 1:33 बजे जम्मू-कश्मीर के डोडा में 5.4 रिक्टर स्केल का एक भूकंप आया। 5.4 की तीव्रता का भूकंप मध्यम से ताकतवर भूकंप की श्रेणी में आता है। कई क्षेत्रों में झटके महसूस किए गए हैं। 4 से 4.4 रिक्टर पैमाने तक के भूकंप की दोबारा संभावना बनी हुई है। इस भूकंप का चक्रवात बिपरजॉय से कोई संबंध नहीं है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, चीन और पाकिस्‍तान में भी भूकंप का असर रहा। अभी तक कहीं से जान-माल के नुकसान की खबर नहीं आई है। यूरोपियन-मेडेटेरेनियम सीस्‍मोलॉजिकल सेंटर (EMSC) के अनुसार, जम्मू-कश्मीर में किश्तवाड़ से 30 किमी दक्षिण पूर्व में रिक्टर पैमाने पर 5.7 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया।
