महिला पहलवानों का यौन शोषण के मामले में दिल्ली पुलिस के विशेष जांच दल ने बड़ी कार्रवाई की है। इस मामले में SIT ने बृजभूषण शरण सिंह के गोंडा स्थित पैतृक गांव विश्नोहरपुर पहुंची, जहां टीम ने 12 लोगों के बयान दर्ज किए हैं। पुलिस ने बृजभूषण के करीबियों, सहयोगियों और सुरक्षाकर्मियों के बयान दर्ज किए हैं। इसके साथ ही टीम ने बृजभूषण से भी पूछताछ की है.वहीं पहलवान साक्षी मलिक ने कहा है कि अब तक WFI के पूर्व अध्यक्ष की गिरफ्तारी हो जानी चाहिए थी। उन्होंने कहा कि इस मामले में निष्पक्ष जांच हो। इसके साथ ही उन्हें डर है कि कहीं इसके बाद कई पहलवानों का कैरियर दांव पर लग जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि न्याय मिलने तक हमारी लड़ाई जारी रहेगी। हमने अपना विरोध वापस नहीं लिया है और हम ऐसा कभी नहीं करेंगे। जब तक हमें न्याय नहीं मिल जाता है, तब तक हम विरोध करना जारी रखेंगे.वहीं इससे पहले पहलवान बजरंग पुनिया ने आंदोलन खत्म करने की बात को लेकर कहा कि आंदोलन वापस लेने की खबरें कोरी अफ़वाह हैं। ये खबरें हमें नुक़सान पहुँचाने के लिए फैलाई जा रही हैं। हम न पीछे हटे हैं और न ही हमने आंदोलन वापस लिया है. महिला पहलवानों की एफ़आईआर उठाने की खबर भी झूठी है। इंसाफ़ मिलने तक लड़ाई जारी रहेगी. बृजभूषण शरण सिंह पर एक्शन की मांग को लेकर आंदोलन कर रहे पहलवान अब अपनी ड्यूटी पर लौट चुके हैं। गृहमंत्री अमित शाह से मुलाकात के बाद पहलवानों ने ऑफिस ज्वाइन करने का फैसला लिया तो वहीं पहलवानों के ड्यूटी ज्वाइन करने की खबरों को आंदोलन वापसी से जोड़कर अफवाह फैला दिया गया, जिसको लेकर रेसलर्स ने कड़ा विरोध जताया है।
