पंजाब में शराब के शौकीन लोगों को झटका लगने वाला है. पंजाब सरकार की नई आबकारी नीति से अब देशी और अंग्रेजी शराब के दाम बढ़ने वाले हैं. अब देशी शराब की बोतल पर 10 रुपए और अंग्रेजी शराब की बोतल पर 20 रुपए बढ़ाए गए है. ‘एबीपी सांझा’ की खबर के अनुसार, बीयर की बोतल पर कोई बढ़ोतरी नहीं की गई है. वहीं आपको बता दें कि पंजाब में कई शराब ठेकेदारों ने तो यह बढ़ोतरी पहली ही लागू कर दी थी. मार्च में ही अंग्रेजी और देशी शराब की एक बोतल के रेट में 30 रुपए की बढ़ोतरी की गई थी. शराब के दाम बढ़ाने को लेकर वित्त और आबकारी मंत्री हरपाल सिंह चीमा का कहना है कि पंजाब में शराब के दाम दूसरे राज्यों के मुकाबले कम हैं. उनके मुताबिक पंजाब में नई आबकारी नीति से आमदनी में करीब 43 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी हुई है, जो अपने आप में एक रिकॉर्ड है. चीमा ने कहा कि पंजाब में शराब की तस्करी ठप हो गई है. बता दें कि पंजाब सरकार ने 7,989 करोड़ रुपए के रिजर्व प्राइस के मुकाबले राज्य में सभी ठेकों की नीलामी कर 8,007 करोड़ रुपए कमाए हैं. वर्ष 2023-24 के लिए आबकारी से 9,745 करोड़ रुपये का लक्ष्य रखा गया है. पंजाब सरकार ने 171 ग्रुपों की नीलामी पूरी कर ली है, जिसमें से करीब 70 फीसदी ग्रुप का नवीनीकरण पुराने कारोबारियों को कर दिया गया है. नवीकृत समूहों में तीन स्लैब का निर्माण किया गया है. जहां शराब की बिक्री अधिक थी, वहां समूह को 16 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि के साथ, मध्यम बिक्री समूह को 12 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि और कम बिक्री वाले समूह को 10 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि के साथ नवीनीकृत किया गया है. वर्ष 2022-23 के दौरान आबकारी राजस्व का लक्ष्य 9600 करोड़ निर्धारित किया गया था और अब तक सरकार को 8900 करोड़ की आय प्राप्त हो चुकी है.
