खालिस्तानी समर्थक अमृतपाल सिंह के साथी जोगा सिंह को पंजाब पुलिस (Punjab Police) ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है. पंजाब के डीआईजी बॉर्डर रेंज नरिंदर भार्गव ने शनिवार 15 अप्रैल को कहा कि ‘वारिस पंजाब दे’ प्रमुख अमृतपाल सिंह के मुख्य सहयोगी जोगा सिंह को सरहिंद से गिरफ्तार किया है. इससे पहले अमृतपाल सिंह को शरण देने के आरोप में पंजाब में दो लोगों को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया.अधिकारियों ने बताया कि गिरफ्तार किए गए लोगों की पहचान होशियारपुर जिले के बाबक गांव निवासी राजदीप सिंह और जालंधर जिले के रहने वाले सरबजीत सिंह के रूप में की गई. राजदीप सिंह और सरबजीत सिंह को शुक्रवार रात मजिस्ट्रेट के सामने पेश किया गया, जिन्होंने उन्हें एक दिन की पुलिस हिरासत में भेज दिया. इसके अलावा बीते सोमवार को पुलिस ने अमृतपाल सिंह के करीबी पपलप्रीत सिंह को पंजाब के होशियारपुर से गिरफ्तार किया था. पुलिस ने कहा कि उसे कड़े राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा कानून के तहत हिरासत में लिया गया है. गिरफ्तारी पंजाब पुलिस और दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल के संयुक्त अभियान का हिस्सा थी. पपलप्रीत सिंह को मंगलवार सुबह असम की डिब्रूगढ़ जेल ले जाया गया था.
