कंपनी के संस्थापक आकाश अली ने यह सपना तब देखा जब उन्होंने शहरों की सड़कों पर बढ़ता धुआं और पेट्रोल की आसमान छूती कीमतें देखीं — जिसने आम लोगों की जेब और पर्यावरण, दोनों पर बोझ डाल दिया था।
आकाश अली ने बताया,
“हमारे डिलीवरी राइडर्स दिनभर धूप, बारिश और ट्रैफिक में काम करते हैं ताकि लोगों तक ज़रूरी चीज़ें पहुँच सकें। उनकी मेहनत देखकर मैंने ठान लिया कि कुछ ऐसा करूँ जिससे उनका जीवन आसान बने और पर्यावरण भी सुरक्षित रहे।”
इसी सोच से जन्म हुआ GBG EV का — जो डिलीवरी राइडर्स को न्यूनतम किराए पर इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटी उपलब्ध कराती है।
इससे न केवल ईंधन खर्च कम हुआ, बल्कि प्रदूषण को रोकने में भी मदद मिली है।
कंपनी ने यह अनोखा संकल्प लिया है —
“जितनी स्कूटी सड़कों पर उतारेंगे, उतने ही पेड़ धरती पर लगाएंगे।”
इस अभियान की शुरुआत 500 पौधों से हुई थी और अब तक यह संख्या 700 पेड़ों तक पहुँच चुकी है। हर महीने कंपनी की टीम अलग-अलग स्थानों पर पौधारोपण कर रही है, ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियाँ स्वच्छ हवा में सांस ले सकें।
आकाश अली का लक्ष्य आने वाले वर्षों में 20,000 इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटियाँ सड़कों पर लाना है, जिससे हजारों युवाओं को रोजगार के अवसर मिलेंगे और शहरों की हवा स्वच्छ बनेगी।
