स्वीडन जल्द ही नाटो में शामिल हो सकता है। अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडन ने यह जानकारी दी है। उनका कहना है कि स्वीडन जल्द ही नॉर्थ अटलांटिक ट्रीटी ऑर्गेनाइजेशन ‘नाटो’का सदस्य होगा। जिस तरह से तुर्किये और हंगरी लगातार स्वीडन का नाटों में शामिल किए जाने का विरोध कर रहे हैं, उसके बावजूद बाइडन ने जल्द से जल्द स्वीडन को नाटो का हिस्सा बनाने की बात कही है.गौरतलब है, अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडेन का ये बयान इस बीच आया है, जब उन्होंने हाल ही में ’29 मई’ तुर्किये के राष्ट्रपति रेचप तैयप एर्दोगन से बात की है। इस बातचीत के दौरान एर्दोगन ने तुर्किये की अमेरिका से एफ-16 लड़ाकू विमान खरीदने की इच्छा दोहराई थी। वहीं, बाइडेन ने कहा था कि अमेरिका चाहता है कि तुर्किये स्वीडन की नाटो सदस्यता को लेकर अपनी आपत्ति छोड़ दे। बाइडेन ने एर्दोगन को तुर्किये के राष्ट्रपति चुनाव में जीत की बधाई देने के लिए फोन किया था। ऐसे में संभावना जताई जा रही है कि अमेरिका और तुर्किये में एफ-16 और स्वीडन की नाटो सदस्यता को लेकर आपस में डील हो सकती है. युनाइटेड स्टेट्स एयर फोर्स एकेडमी के ग्रैजुएशन सेरेमनी के दौरान बोलते हुए अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडन ने नाटो की एकता की सराहना की। उन्होंने गुरुवार को कहा कि नाटो पहले के दशक की तुलना में और एकजुट और ऊर्जावान है। स्वीडन जल्द ही नाटो में शामिल हो जाएगा। उन्होंने स्वीडन को सैन्य गठबंधन नाटो में शामिल करने के लिए तुर्किये के विरोध को दूर करने का संकेत दिया। जो बाइडन ने तुर्किये के राष्ट्रपति रेसेप तैयप एर्दोगन को फिर से निर्वाचित होने पर बधाई दी। बाइडन ने कहा कि एर्दोगन ने अमेरिका से एफ-16 लड़ाकू जेट खरीदने की इच्छा दोहराई है। वहीं, जो बाइडन ने तुर्किये से स्वीडन के नाटो में शामिल होने पर अपनी आपत्ति छोड़ने का आग्रह किया.जो बाइडन ने कहा कि रूसी राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन के यूक्रेन पर आक्रमण के साथ गठबंधन को तोड़ने के प्रयास के बावजूद नाटो बहुत अधिक मजबूत है। उन्होंने कहा कि फिनलैंड के प्रवेश से और जल्द ही स्वीडन के आने से नाटो और मजबूत हो जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि ‘यह होगा, मैं आपसे वादा करता हूं.इससे पहले, जो बाइडन ने सोमवार को कहा था कि वह जल्द ही एर्दोगन से दोबारा बात करेंगे। मालूम हो कि नाटो का वार्षिक शिखर सम्मेलन जुलाई में विलनियस ‘लिथुआनिया’में होने वाला है.इधर, अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्री एंटनी ब्लिंकन ने मंगलवार को तुर्किये से नाटो में स्वीडन के प्रवेश को तुरंत अंतिम रूप देने का आग्रह किया। अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्री ने कहा कि स्वीडन ने अपनी सदस्यता के लिए तुर्किये की आपत्तियों को दूर करने के लिए पहले ही महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठा लिए हैं।
