आंध्र प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और तेलगु देशम पार्टी (टीडीपी) प्रमुख चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने आरबीआई के शुक्रवार को लिए फैसले का स्वागत किया। नायडू ने 2000 के नोटों को प्रचलन से वापस लेने के आरबीआई के फैसले का स्वागत किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि ‘यह एक अच्छा संकेत हैं’। एक जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए नायडू ने कहा कि “2000 रुपये के नोटों पर प्रतिबंध लगाने का निर्णय निश्चित रूप से एक अच्छा संकेत है। मैंने बहुत पहले डिजिटल करेंसी पर एक रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की है और नोटों को रद्द करने से निश्चित रूप से भ्रष्टाचार पर रोक लगेगी.चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने आगे कहा, राजनेता वोटर्स को पैसे देकर चुनाव जीतने की कोशिश करते हैं। 2000 के नोट इसमें बड़ी भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। अब, इसे काफी हद तक रोका जा सकता है.बता दें कि विपक्षी पार्टियों ने आरबीआई के इस कदम पर निशाना साधा है। जहां राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने कहा कि ‘अगर दो हजार के नोट को बंद ही करना था तो इसे लाया ही क्यों गया था. अगर दो हजार का नोट पहले से चलन में नहीं था तो इसपर भी जवाब देना चाहिए’। गहलोत आगे कहते है कि ‘सरकार को यह भी बताना चाहिए की दो हजार के नोट मार्केट से कैसे गायब हो गए’इसके अलावा कांग्रेस नेता राजीव शुक्ला ने एक बयान में कहा कि ‘ऐसे फैसलों से अर्थव्यवस्था मजबूत होने की बजाए कमजोर होती है’
