ईपीएफओ ने अधिक पेंशन के लिए आवेदन करने की समय सीमा 26 जून तक बढ़ा दी है। कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन ने मंगलवार को कहा कि सभी पात्र उम्मीदवारों को अपने आवेदन जमा करने में सक्षम बनाने के लिए समय सीमा 26 जून, 2023 तक बढ़ा दी गई है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा पिछले साल 4 नवंबर को जारी आदेश के मुताबिक ईपीएफए ने ज्यादा पेंशन चाहने वाले पेंशनभोगियों और नियोक्ताओं को विकल्प और संयुक्त विकल्प देने की व्यवस्था की है। इन्हें ऑनलाइन जमा करने की समय सीमा 3 मई, 2023 निर्धारित की गई थी, लेकिन हाल ही में इसे 26 जून तक बढ़ा दिया गया है। ईपीएफओ ने खुलासा किया कि अब तक 12 लाख आवेदन प्राप्त हुए हैं। केंद्रीय श्रम मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा कि पेंशनरों, कर्मचारियों, नियोक्ताओं और विभिन्न संघों से प्राप्त अनुरोधों के आधार पर समय सीमा बढ़ाने का फैसला किया गया है.”EPFO के सर्कुलर में कहा गया कि जिन कर्मचारियों ने 5,000 रुपये या 6,500 रुपये की तत्कालीन वेतन सीमा से अधिक सैलरी में कंट्रिब्यूट किया था और EPS-95 के सदस्य होने के दौरान संशोधित योजना के साथ EPS के तहत ऑप्शन चुना था, वह हायर पेंशन के लिए योग्य होंगे.और EPS-95 के सदस्य होने के दौरान संशोधित योजना के साथ EPS के तहत ऑप्शन चुना था, वह हायर पेंशन के लिए योग्य होंगे. वहीं, योग्य सदस्य को बढ़े हुए लाभ के लिए अपने नियोक्ता के साथ ज्वाइंट रूप से आयुक्त द्वारा निर्धारित आवेदन पत्र और अन्य सभी जरूरी दस्तावेजों जैसे ज्वाइंट घोषणा आदि आवेदन में करना होगा.
