यूपी में नहीं बढ़ेंगी बिजली की दरें, पावर कॉर्पोरेशन का प्रस्ताव खारिज

उत्तर प्रदेश के बिजली उपभोक्ताओं के लिए बड़ी खुशखबरी है. यूपी में फिलहाल बिजली की दरें नहीं बढेंगी. राज्य विद्युत् नियामक आयोग ने यूपी पॉवर कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड के दर बढ़ाने के प्रस्ताव को ठुकराया दिया है. प्रस्ताव में यूपीपीसीएल की तरफ से बिजली की दरों में बढ़ोत्तरी की बात कही गई थी. इस प्रस्ताव को नियामक आयोग की ओर से खारिज कर दिया गया. ऐसे में प्रदेश में बिजली की पुरानी दरें ही लागू रहेंगी. गौरतलब है कि यूपी में पिछले 4 सालों से बिजली की दरों में बढ़ोत्तरी नहीं की गई है. इस बीच हाल ही में यूपी पॉवर कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड ने बिजली दरों में बढ़ोत्तरी का प्रस्ताव राज्य विद्युत् नियामक आयोग को भेजा था. सुनवाई के दौरान उपभोक्ताओं ने बिजली की दरों में बढ़ोत्तरी का विरोध किया. इसके बाद नियामक आयोग ने प्रस्ताव को खारिज कर दिया. ऐसे में भीषण गर्मी की मार झेल रहे प्रदेश के लोगों को काफी राहत मिली है. गर्मी में एसी, कूलर और पंखे का जमकर इस्तेमाल होता है. बिजली की दरें बढ़ने से कहीं न कहीं लोगों की जेब पर भारी पड़ता.वहीं अब प्रदेश में बिजली उपभोक्ता यूपी पॉवर कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड की ओर सेवाओं के वितरण में चूक के लिए कानूनी रूप से मुआवजे का दावा कर सकेंगे. यूपीपीसीएल ने तीन साल से अधिक समय पहले यूपी विद्युत नियामक आयोग की तरफ से इस संबंध में बनाए गए कानून को लागू किया था. यूपीईआरसी के एक अधिकारी ने कहा कि यूपीपीसीएल के अध्यक्ष एम. देवराज ने यूपीईआरसी को सूचित किया है कि निगम ने पूरे राज्य में एक ऑनलाइन सॉफ्टवेयर के माध्यम से मुआवजा कानून लागू किया है.
