तमिलनाडु की मदुरै कोर्ट ने यूट्यूबर मनीष कश्यप को तीन दिन की पुलिस कस्टडी में भेजा
तमिलनाडु में प्रवासी मजदूरों को लेकर फर्जी वीडियो शेयर करने के मामले में यूट्यूबर मनीष कश्यप की मुश्किलें कम नहीं हो रही हैं। तमिलनाडु पुलिस ने मनीष कश्यप को गुरुवार को मदुरै की अदालत में पेश किया। अदालत ने उसे तीन दिन की पुलिस हिरासत में भेजा है। इससे पहले, र्थिक अपराध इकाई (ईओयू) ने मनीष से पांच दिनों तक पूछताछ की थी।फर्जी वीडियो के मामले में बिहार पुलिस ने मनीष कश्यप को बेतिया से 18 मार्च को गिरफ्तार किया था। बिहार पुलिस के मुताबिक, पुलिस और ईओयू उसके घर को कुर्क करने की प्रक्रिया में थी, तभी उसने बेतिया के जगदीशपुर थाने में सरेंडर कर दिया। ईओयू ने मनीष और अन्य आरोपियों के खिलाफ सोशल मीडिया पर तमिलनाडु में प्रवासी मजदूरों की कथित पिटाई को लेकर फर्जी वीडियो शेयर करने के मामले में केस दर्ज किया था।बिहार पुलिस और ईओयू की तरफ से जारी बयान में कहा गया, “मजदूरों की पिटाई के फर्जी वीडियो शेयर करने के मामले में मनीष कश्यप को बिहार और तमिलनाडु पुलिस से वांटेड घोषित किया गया था। घर की कुर्की के डर से उसने पुलिस के सामने सरेंडर कर दिया।”तमिलनाडु के कोयम्बटूर में प्रवासी श्रमिकों पर कथित रूप से हमला करने के आरोप में हिंदू मुन्नानी संगठन के दो सदस्यों सहित चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया था। आरोपियों को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजा गया है।
