भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ के निवर्तमान अध्यक्ष व भाजपा सांसद बृजभूषण शरण सिंह की गिरफ्तारी की मांग को लेकर दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर बैठे पहलवानों के प्रदर्शन का आज (23 मई) एक महीना पूरा हो गया है। धरना दे रहे खिलाड़ी आज मंगलवार को इंडिया गेट पर कैंडल मार्च निकालेंगे। पहलवानों में इसमें लोगों से बड़ी संख्या में पहुंचने की अपील की है.बता दें कि इससे पहले बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने रविवार को अपनी फेसबुक पोस्ट में नार्को टेस्ट कराने की बात लिखी थी। उन्होंने लिखा कि अगर दोनों पहलवान टेस्ट कराने को तैयार हैं, तो मीडिया को बुलाकर घोषणा करें। सोमवार को धरने पर हरियाणा और दिल्ली सहित अन्य जगहों से खाप प्रतिनिधि पहुंचे. बृजभूषण शरण सिंह के खिलाफ चल रही यौन उत्पीड़न मामले की जांच में नया मोड़ आ सकता है। सात महिला पहलवानों के साथ मुकदमा दर्ज कराने वाली नाबालिग पहलवान के मामले में पुलिस को जांच के दौरान रोहतक से कुछ शैक्षणिक दस्तावेज मिले हैं.इस आधार पर पुलिस यह पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि जिस दौरान उन्होंने बृजभूषण शरण सिंह पर यौन उत्पीड़न किए जाने का आरोप लगाया है, उस दौरान वह नाबालिग थी या बालिग हो चुकी थीं.दस्तावेज की जांच से अगर पहलवान के बालिग होने की पुष्टि हो जाएगी, तब मुकदमे से पॉक्सो की धारा हट सकती है। बृजभूषण शरण सिंह के खिलाफ सात महिला पहलवानों ने 21 अप्रैल को कनाट प्लेस थाने में शिकायत की थी, तुरंत मुकदमा दर्ज न किए जाने पर 23 अप्रैल से पहलवानों ने जंतर-मंतर पर पहुंचकर धरना देना शुरू कर दिया था मामला दर्ज करने में देरी करने पर पहलवानों ने जब सुप्रीम कोर्ट में गुहार लगाई, तब 28 अप्रैल को पुलिस ने कोर्ट में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि पहलवानों की शिकायत पर वह मुकदमा दर्ज करने को तैयार है।
